All India Association for Advancing Research in Obesity, Odisha State Chapter is launched and welcome you all to join the new endeavor of treatment on basics of elementary medicine.
Obesity and diabetes are a dual burden and an epidemic; we have a social responsibility to fight against this epidemic and try to prevent it from growing further. In addition to public awareness, offering knowledge and training to clinicians and specialists involved in the care of people suffering from obesity and diabetes, the AIAARO Odisha State Chapter will continue to take the lead in the field through meetings, CME events, conventions, courses, etc.
The AIAARO is one of the best platforms to spread scientific information regarding the challenge at hand. As every organization evolves, it evolves to a promise "vision and mission”. Nutrition in the metabolically ill and obese, as well as nutrition in general, is a demand of the new era. We intend to partner with all our members and try to offer better knowledge and better nutrition, for all in need. Obesity is a multi factorial disease, and hence, integration of all the faculties of medicine involved in its treatment under the AIAARO will be the ongoing task of the Odisha State Chapter. And the Odisha State Chapter promises to give the best to our society.
